About this Project

Lavender served as my Senior Capstone project at Oregon State University. I acted as Project Manager leading a team of five developers, establishing project milestones, managing sprints, and overseeing architectural decisions.

The application enables shift workers to input non-traditional work schedules and receive personalized recommendations to optimize circadian rhythms. In developing the algorithmic recommendations, our team partnered closely with a sleep psychology specialist to validate that schedule generation aligned with clinical methodologies.

On the technical side, the application integrates Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore for persistent schedule storage, and Cloud Functions for backend automation, paired with a fast React and Vite frontend.
