Hi! I'm Cameron Rice, an aspiring backend software engineer with a passion for building scalable and efficient applications. My journey in software and web development began during my studies at Oregon State University, where I developed a strong interest in designing robust backend systems that power dynamic and responsive applications.

Throughout the beginnings of my academic and professional career, I've already worked extensively with backend technologies like PHP (Laravel), JavaScript (Node.js), and MySQL, specializing in authentication, database management, API development, and cloud automation. I also have experience with React and Next.js, but my primary focus and interest is in backend engineering and infrastructure.

My internship experiences at Zeek Interactive have given me hands-on experience in developing real-world backend applications, ensuring system stability, optimizing performance, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. I'm always eager to explore new backend technologies, cloud platforms, and best practices to refine my expertise as a backend engineer.
